Spruce Grove, AB. [June 27, 2024] - Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment (SISE) is pleased to announce the addition of three talented professionals to its growing digital media team. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization and will contribute significantly to SISE’s continued success in the sports and entertainment industry.
Trevor Miller – Director, Broadcast & Digital Media (4Vengeance Media)
Miller joins Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment after a stellar broadcasting career in British Columbia. During his time working in the BCHL, Miller worked for the Trail Smoke Eaters (2018-19), Penticton Vees (2019-22), and the West Kelowna Warriors (2022-24). In 2019 as a member of the Vees, he was named BCHL Broadcaster-of-the-Year honours.
After spending the past two seasons overseeing media relations and play by play duties for the West Kelowna Warriors, Miller will transition to Spruce Grove and be responsible for the strategic vision and daily execution of 4Vengeance Media. Miller will oversee and manage all media platforms for SISE brands, including the BCHL’s Spruce Grove Saints as well as serve as the official play-by-play voice of the Saints.
Dreyson Kuiper – Manager, Broadcast & Digital Media (4Vengeance Media)
A graduate of the Television Production and Media program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta, Kuiper has honed his skills through practical experience with the Calgary Flames, Calgary Hitmen, and Calgary Roughnecks. His post-graduation role as Media Coordinator for the Brooks Bandits further enriched his understanding of the industry.
Kuiper will be responsible for successfully executing professional show broadcasts for various sports and events across all SISE brands and will serve as the primary lead on all technical aspects of broadcasts as well as in-house productions. With his vast experience in digital media, Kuiper will use his expertise to create content for various platforms, while managing SISE websites and social media platforms.
Gavin Turinek – Manager, Marketing & Digital Media (Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment)
Turinek joins Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment as a seasoned marketer and digital producer after working with The Nation Network. The Edmonton, Alberta native has led major projects such as Daily Faceoff Live with Frank Seravalli and Coming in Hot with Brent Wallace.
A graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Radio & Television program, Turinek will be responsible for assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing with driving all sales functions and operations, with a focus on Saints group ticketing and fan experience. He will also play a significant role with all SISE broadcast and digital media properties, including technical setup and support.
